Rachael + Andrew @ Historic Stonebrook Farm

Once upon a time, Rachel and Andrew found each other in a hospital, of all places. Yes, a hospital! They’re both in the healthcare field and worked together in the same facility. Being coworkers for years turned into a first date, and honestly, the rest is history! Andrew proposed in the barn at a favorite local restaurant, all decked out with balloons and allllllllll the romantic touches and he pulled off the most perfect evening ever. Clearly, he knows what he’s doing when it comes to making Rachel the happiest lady on earth.

They love the farm/barn/rustic chic vibe, so deciding on Stonebrook for their big day was surely an easy choice. The owners there are so warm and welcoming, everyone feels like family instantly. If you’re looking for a great spot for your wedding day and you love this aesthetic, go check them out, they’re one of my absolute TOP favorites!

We nailed an engagement session about one year before their wedding date, and chose a gorgeous little park in my hometown. It was fully decorated for the holidays, and the warmth and magic of the season was overflowing! Such a perfect backdrop for these two. Then we hit their venue for an updated, “extra” session over at the farm the summer before their big day and got all the whimsy of summer and popped a bottle for a little somethin’ extra. Spending time with Rachel and Andrew is so fun, and I’m actually a little sad that their wedding is over already!

Fast forward to the AMAZING big day… Rachel was so excited to tell me all about the Christmas trees she got and how beautifully everything was coming together. All the holiday touches were simply perfect. And I mean PERFECT. She even got a little snow machine for portraits! She had a gorgeous faux-fur wrap and all her girls were in red satin, it was just so incredible. Her vision was a magical holiday-themed wedding, and that’s exactly what she got. Take a peek!
