Emily + Julian @ Peddler’s Village

Emily and Julian are a one-of-a-kind couple. They share a love of traveling the world, exploring history and culture, and together I’m pretty sure they’ll move some major mountains. Julian is from Puerto Rico and has a charm about him that’s undeniably warm. Emily has some of the sweetest giggles I’ve ever heard, and a smile that could melt statues! They hike, they laugh, they love their life together. It’s just so easy to fall in love with these two. Back in 2017, I had photographed a wedding for friends of theirs (Emily was a bridesmaid) and those friends were now part of this bridal party. My little artist soul is just so happy! We all know most of my couples come from referrals of prior clients, and it fills my heart to see so many wonderful faces all over again, celebrating more and more of their lives together.

All Emily wanted on her wedding day at Peddler’s Village was to be married by the gazebo with all the glittering string lights pouring their magical glow over them. Which, if I’m to be completely honest, is just the dreamiest little spot there. She pulled all her plans together perfectly and booked the very first weekend that the village decorates for the holidays, and all that magic came alive! Their friends and family came from all over (even Puerto Rico!) and the celebrations were just incredible. The day started out with torrential storms that brought a VERY brisk afternoon, but we got sunshine just at the last minute and their ceremony was absolutely perfect. Emily and Julian danced a beautifully choreographed first dance together, a dear friend serenaded them with a stunning song, and everyone partied their hearts out through the night. Seriously just the best day ever!
