Kelsey + Dustin @ Bridgeton House on the Delaware

Kelsey and Dustin got in touch after seeing another recent wedding day I shot at Bridgeton House, and I’m so SO glad they did! If you’ve never been to this stunning little riverside inn, you’re missing out. The views, the hospitality, and the incredible spaces within and surrounding the inn are all just so gorgeous.

I started my day as usual, with all the details and all the getting-ready-for-the-biggest-day-of-your-life energy. Kelsey and her family & friends were just bubbling with excitement and the entire vibe was electric! When I brought her out to her first look with Dustin, I thought he was going to bounce himself right out of his shoes. Seriously, he was so impatient to see her and it was the sweetest thing ever. When he turned and looked at her, in all her bridal glory, he lost it and that was the exact moment I knew in my heart of hearts that these two were destined for forever.

The Bridgeton House has a few different spots for ceremonies, but my favorite one is where Kelsey and Dustin chose. The views of the river and the bridge are absolutely beautiful and this particular space is always full and lush with greenery. Their ceremony was short and sweet, with self-written vows and laughs galore. My absolute favorite little string quartet played her aisle song and throughout the cocktail hour, and what bliss! After a handful of light hearted portraits and everyone finally getting a little time to kick back and really enjoy the space, we all packed up and headed out to dinner at the Golden Pheasant Inn, just up the road along the river. There we walked into a gorgeously appointed dining room, filled with florals and just the most exquisite table dressings complete with candles and all the romantic vibes. So dreamy! Wine, champagne, and cocktails flowed endlessly to celebrate. There were toasts, laughs, the happiest tears, and just so much love in that room.

Right now, I bet Kelsey and Dustin are still living out their honeymoon phase. After four years together and all that life has tossed their way in that time, they still laugh together like old friends. It’s truly beautiful and just a blessing to be such an important part of this day!
