Emily + Julian Engagement @ Valley Forge National Park

When I met with these two for coffee, I couldn’t have imagined just how wonderful they are together. Emily and Julian are simply a perfect pairing. They were both on the quiet-ish side, reserved and kind spirited. They both speak multiple languages fluently, and love traveling around the world and discovering places near and far that are rich in history and culture. Julian’s family is from Puerto Rico and many of his loved ones still call it home, so they get to travel to see them as often as possible. Their wedding will be at Peddler’s Village in November, under the glow of string lights with their families and friends, filled with holiday charm and all the gorgeous touches of winter colors and warm hearts.

We hit it off wonderfully and planned out a day in Valley Forge National Park for their engagement session, per Julian’s request. He had taken Emily there for one of their very first dates, so it was wonderfully fitting to go celebrate this occasion together! We started exploring by the Philander Chase Knox Estate and leisurely wandered the grounds. Autumn was in full glory, the air was warm, and everywhere we went was simply beautiful. They danced, they laughed, they embraced, and we truly got to enjoy everything this stunning location had to offer. Julian suggested driving a couple miles to one specific spot along the river before we wrapped things up so we hopped in our cars and headed over. We ended the session there with a gorgeous light hike full of soft, dusky light & fantastic views of the water, and it was all seriously just so perfect!

I can barely wait for Emily + Julian’s big day this fall. It’s going to be so incredible!
